Journal paper: a paper that is accepted for presentation and for archival in Computer-Aided Design and Application, the main journal of the conference.
Technical paper: a paper that reports on a technical development and is accepted for presentation only.
Presentation: technical material intended for presentation only and requires the submission of an extended abstract.
Show paper: a paper that showcases the products or services of institutions and may be accepted for presentation and perhaps archival.
Best (student) paper: an award quality paper that comes with a certificate, life-long archival and a cash prize of  USD (500) 1,000.

Paper Submission
All materials must be submitted electronically in PDF format using the posted MS Word template file. Please download the file, format the paper according to the instructions, and convert it to PDF. Please submit all materials via the CAD'10 paper processing system. Submission processing is as follows:
March 15, 2010: notification of acceptance
April 15, 2010: revision is due in MS Word format
Submission Policies
Open door: all professionally presented, good quality papers/presentations are welcome and every effort is made to accommodate as many as space allows.
No “no-show”: by submitting a paper or presentation, the author(s) agree that if the material is accepted, either for presentation or for archival, at least one of them attends the conference and delivers the presentation.
