Welcome to CAD'08, the 2008 International CAD Conference and Exhibition.The conference is aimed at CAD researchers, educators, developers, vendors, and the business community dealing with CAD technology and its financial issues. The exhibition is open to all CAD businesses including software houses, hardware manufacturers, vendors, e-businesses, educators, publishers and sectors from various government agencies. CAD'08 has tutorial presentations, parallel paper sessions, product demonstrations, and several forms of exhibits.

Special features of CAD’08 include academic exhibition, show papers and best paper awards. Academic exhibition is aimed at Universities to promote their programs and to recruit students to their undergraduate and graduate studies. Show papers, reporting on projects and various business activities, are excellent promotional and recruitment tools. The best paper awards honor the top papers and come with life-long web archival and cash prizes.

CAD'08 is proud to announce the federation of the annual CAD conferences with the annual Conferences on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, starting with UAV'08. The Symposium aims at discussing focused interests of diverse groups involved in UAV research and development, with the expectation to identify key components of wide acceptance of UAV technology.

Say No to “no-shows!” It has become a problem in recent years that some authors whose papers have been accepted do not show up at the conference or pull out in the last minute. This is not an acceptable practice and CAD’08 solicits the support of the CAD community to combat deliberate no-shows. It is the author's responsibility to arrange for a substitute speaker in case of an unexpected event.
